WAY Systems Appoints Gary Long Vice President of Finance

BOSTON, MA; DECEMBER 3, 2008: Fred Gumbel, CEO of WAY Systems Inc. announced today that Gary Long has been appointed Vice President of Finance at WAY Systems. Mr. Long previously held the position of Director of Finance.

Mr. Long has been instrumental in executing WAY’s early stage and latest rounds of investor funding. He will expand his role to oversee all aspects of the company’s financial policies and procedures.

“As an end-to-end solution provider we deal with finances that have to be in tune with our ISO’s and processing partners,” said Long. “WAY is not simply a terminal manufacturer, we are also a service provider which, in itself, means that there are a lot of moving parts from a financial perspective. Given the current economic climate we need to ensure that all of our procedures are geared toward respecting the market conditions that face all of our partners. I am excited by the appointment and by the financial situation we are in. We are poised from a financial perspective to be able to grow the business steadily and securely,” added Long.

Prior to joining Way Systems, Mr. Long served as CFO at Ennovate Networks, Quarry Networks and REALink. His 30 years of experience include working for M/A-Com (a publicly traded company), Eastern Technologies and Horizon House Publications. In addition, Mr. Long has consulted a number of start-up and early stage companies. Mr. Long received both his B.S. in Accounting and his MBA from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts.
