WAY Systems Appoints Eric Lecesne President and Chief Operating Officer

BOSTON, MA; SEPTEMBER 15, 2008: Fred Gumbel CEO WAY Systems Inc. announced today that Eric Lecesne has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of WAY Systems. Mr. Lecesne previously held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Mr. Lecesne will spearhead WAY Systems’ transformation as they deliver their revolutionary way5000 mobile multi-application POS terminal and the associated release of the WAY Control Center 4.0. WAY is forecasting another year of growth to their installed customer base and Mr. Lecesne, along with the Executive Management Team, plays a key role in shaping the culture, processes and product required to deliver an organization that can support such growth.

Prior to joining Way Systems, Mr. Lecesne was principal and founder of ECL International, a consulting company. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Lecesne was General Manager, Executive Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer in charge of Marketing, R&D and Manufacturing for Ingenico. Mr. Lecesne was General Manager at VeriFone in charge of Marketing and R&D from 1999 to 2002. He also worked at Cosine Communications and Hewlett-Packard where he held various positions in engineering and general management for telecommunication equipment and high end servers. Mr. Lecesne is a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (France) where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering.
